DELTA 2000 – Soc. cons. a r.l. is a limited liability consortium and it was founded on May 29th 1996. DELTA 2000 represents the main institutional, economic and social components of the territory. The participation at corporate capital is both public and private: public institutions of the Provinces of Ferrara and Ravenna and professional associations, economic operators and SMEs of the Provinces of Ferrara e Ravenna.
DELTA 2000 focuses its activities on local development through economic promotion, enhancement of the rural territory and technical assistance to third parties. The main aim of our Agency is promoting local resources and economic activities in a harmonised and integrated way in order to start a local development process based on the self-representation of local communities.
The main current activities are projects aimed at the valorisation of the economic resources and activities of the territory; the planning, implementation and management of projects aimed at promoting integrated sustainable development, preserving resources and protecting the environment and local resources, financed by EU structural founds, European Cooperation Programs, National, Regional and local directives and programs; since 1996 planning, implementation and management of the Local Action Plan of LEADER I.C. for the rural development of Po Delta Area.
